- Private user profiles - Your profile can only be viewed by registered users. You may also make portions of your profile viewable only by friends or viewable only by you.

- Connections - An easy-to-use list of people you have connected with on Grotto Bytes.
- Blogs - Your profile contains a blog where you can write about your day, your life, or basically anything you want to write about.
- Message Wall - An area on your profile where other users or friends can write messages. You have the ability to control who posts messages here.
- Forums - Access to forums for discussion, support and requests.
- Blocking - You may block any user from bothering you if the need should arise. You may also contact the admin or a moderator to make a user report.
